TARYN + GEOFFERY ENGAGEMENT SESSION - Birmingham, AL
Born and raised in Birmingham, AL naturally comes with inquiries throughout the year, but Taryn + Geoffrey is one of those couples’ that every photographer/videographer dreams of working with. Not only are they naturally good-looking humans individually, but their connection is contagious to anyone that is around them!
When Taryn + Geoffrey signed their contract for my team and I to be their creative vendor team in June of 2024, naturally the next step was getting their engagement session on the books! I strive to allow my creative freedom to run wild in these sessions so that each gallery that I capture has a different feeling to it.
Saturday, our original plan was to start at the Birmingham Botanical Gardens but unfortunately, we realized it was closed. So like I tell all of my JHP couples, stress is derived from the lack of preparation and composure. We searched and found this BEAUTIFUL church, Southside Baptist Church, that fulfilled Taryns’ vision of a courthouse vibe. This place was Gorgeous with a capital ‘G’. After spending about an hour at this location, we headed over to The Club to give us a more skyline city vibe. If you have read my earlier blogs, you will remember this location from Ellen Coleman & Joseph Alexander’s session. The thing I love most about this location is the versatility behind different spots at this country club.
